This recipe makes two trays of kale chips. I like salt flavor well, but you can also combine it with for example:
Chili and sea salt (1 teaspoon each)
Grated Parmesan (50 g)
Preheat the oven to 170C / 340F with the hot air option
Wash and tear the kale into smaller chunks (unless you have purchased pre-cut kale in a bag).
Put the kale in a bowl and mix with the olive oil. You can knead the kale a little to make sure that the oil puts on the kale.
Then mix in the sea salt or other spices you may want. Be aware that you don't need much salt.
Place the kale on a baking tray and make sure that the kale is not on top of each other.
Heat in the oven for 5-10 minutes. It is important that you keep an eye on the process as the kale can easily be burned. 10 minutes was a little too long for me.
Once done, allow the kale to cool on a grill tray to make them crispy.
Veldig godt! For å sikre at alt blir sprøtt uten at det brenner seg så pleier jeg å skru av ovnen etter ca 5 minutter og la de stå der inne i ca 5 minutter til for å tørke.
Veldig enkel å lage! Skal prøve med flere krydder neste gang, men salt fungerte hvertfall utmerket. En favoritt hos meg har lenge vært ristede mandler, men på grunn av ganske høyt karbohydratinnhold i mandler så er det ikke noe jeg kan spise altfor mye av. Men med grønnkål kunne jeg unne meg litt mer :)
