Ingredients  

  1. Take the meat out of the fridge approx. 30 minutes before Cover it with aluminum foil and let it sit at room temperature.
  2. Meanwhile, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, salt, thyme and pepper flakes / chili flakes. Mix the steaks with this mixture and set aside.
  3. Preheat a large grill pan (or a grill) to medium-high heat. If you use a grill pan, be sure to have some of the marinade above in the pan.
  4. Add the steaks and cook for 3-4 minutes on one side. Turn over and continue to cook for another 2 minutes for medium cooked and 3-4 minutes for well cooked.
  5. If desired, drizzle some of the marinade on the steaks while frying. Remove from heat and set aside.
  6. Meanwhile, place vegetables, nuts and cheese in a deep bowl. Mix well
  7. Place the salad on a plate and top it with the steak.
  8. If desired, season with a little more salt or pepper and drizzle with a little olive oil.
  9. Serve immediately.
