Ingredients

  1. Preheat the oven to 225C/435F.
  2. Then rinse the zucchinis and divide them in half lengthwise.
  3. Use a spoon and take out the inside and finely chop this meat. Be sure to get as much of the inside out as possible, avoiding a thick edge. This edge will turn solid in the oven, and will not be edible.
  4. Place the hollowed-out zucchinis on a baking tray, then brush them with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Bake in the oven for 6-7 minutes while making the filling.
  6. Clean and finely chop onions and garlic, heat the butter and whisk it in.
  7. Put in the beef and mix together.
  8. Add the "meat" of zucchini and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  9. Add chopped tomatoes, salt, and spices. Chopped tomatoes usually come in 400g/14oz packages, but see if you need the whole package. It is important that the mixture does not become too liquid.
  10. Bring to a boil and leave without lid for at least 5-6 minutes.
  11. Place the stew in the fried squash halves and sprinkle with cheese.
  12. Grate with the grill element in the oven.
  13. Serve with a green salad.
