This version is made with coconut flour, but I have also made it with sesame flour. Sesame flour has fewer carbohydrates and is also cheaper to buy, but has a different taste. Try it out and see which one you like :)
Meat and vegetablesI recommend having an oven on at 100C / 215F to keep the food warm while you make it.
- Set the oven to100C / 215F.
- Cut the beef into strips and place it in a bowl.
- Mix together the spice ingredients, and then mix it with the meat.
- Cut the bell peppers and onion into strips and fry it in butter.
- Put the peppers and onions in a casserole.
- Fry the meat in butter to your liking depends (well done, medium, etc). Remember that you will put it in the oven afterwards, where it will continue to cook.
- Put the meat in the casserole together with the vegetables and place it in the oven.
Guacamole
- Divide the avocados in half and remove the stone with a spoon (preserve the stone).
- Take out the avocado with a spoon and place it in a bowl.
- Add the spices and blend it with a hand blender.
- I recommend you taste the guacamole while blending so you get the taste that you like.
- If you do not eat everything, you can put the stone in the guacamole to keep it fresh in the fridge.
Tortilla
- Melt the butter (just melt it, don't boil it)
- Mix together the dry ingredients in a bowl
- Then add the butter and water. Pour the water little by little. The dough should have a soft and nice texture making it easy to shape as a tortilla.
- Put a baking paper on the kitchen counter and have another sheet ready.
- Take out a small portion of dough and shape it into a ball.
- Place the ball on the baking paper and place the other baking paper over. Press down on the bowl.
- With a rolling pin make a thin tortilla. Try and make it as thin as you can without it breaking apart, as the tortilla will get a bit thicker when frying.
- When you get the tortilla made it is probably not completely round. If you want it a prettier you can use a knife and cut away the edges.
- Fry the tortilla on a dry pan. I fry with the heat set to 7 out of 9 on my cooking top.
- Pay attention and make sure the tortilla does not get burnt. Turn and fry on the other side
- Then place the tortilla on a dish and place a kitchen towel over it to keep warm.
- Repeat until all the dough is made.
- Serve :)
